Outreach Ministries Committee- Gift Basket Project

Our gift basket project in support of the Caldwell Family Centre’s “Harvest of Hope” fundraiser is well under way!!! 

·         On Monday, September 29th, 2025, the Caldwell Family Centre (CFC) will once again be hosting their “Harvest of Hope” fundraising dinner and charity auction. 

·         To support this event, the Outreach Ministries Committee will be collecting items from August 24th to September 21st, to create several gift baskets to donate to the Silent Auction. The project is off to a great start with the donation already received for a Garden theme basket!!

This week, we are asking that the Garden theme be continued (seed packages, trowel or other garden tools, knee pads, spray bottle, hat, sunscreen and whatever might come in handy for people with green thumbs!!).

Next week, we are asking for donations for a Gourmet Food basket (oils, vinegars, honey, coffee, tea, a mug, jams/jellies, mustards, chutney or other condiments, tea towels, chocolate, biscuits/crackers, fancy pastas and sauces – anything that a good cook might enjoy!!)

Baskets of any shape or size will be gratefully received.

A basket will be set up in the Sanctuary for Gift Basket donations.  Your participation and support will directly impact crucial programs at CFC that empower families, feed children and transform lives in our community.
