On Monday, September 29th, 2025, the Caldwell Family Centre will once again be hosting their “Harvest of Hope” fundraising dinner and charity auction. Some members of St. Paul’s United attended this event last year and can attest to the delicious meal that was served!! While this is a fundraising activity, it is intended to be an evening of celebration and entertainment, with the primary goal of raising funds for a good cause and focusing on the Caldwell Family Centre’s commitment to the children and families they serve.
To support this event, the Outreach Ministries Committee plans to make several gift baskets to donate to the Silent Auction. The gift baskets can be created using several different themes and will be assembled and decorated by Pat Gale and other Committee members.
The Committee will be gathering items from August 24th to September 21st to include in the gift baskets, such as:
· Baskets–any shape or size;
· Gourmet foods: oils, vinegars, fancy pastas and sauces, coffee, tea, mug, cheese board and servers, biscuits, chocolate, honey, jams/jellies, specialty mustards, or other condiments, tea towels;
· Kitchen items: colander, coffee press, bowls, cheese board and servers, spatulas, spoons,garlic press, baking things, strainer, measuring spoons, measuring cups, wire whisk, pastry blender, rolling pin;
· Spa basket: lotions, creams, shampoo, conditioner, bath towel set or single, eye mask, nail clippers and polish, foot massage luffa, hair clips;
· Garden: garden tools, seeds, apron, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, hand lotion;
· Sport: exercise weights, headband, water bottle, cap, towel, golf balls, swimming goggles, cycling/paddling gloves, swim shoes, sun screen.
A box will be set up at the back of the sanctuary for Gift Basket donations.Your participation and support will directly impact crucial programs that empower families, feed children and transform lives in our community.
