2025 Lenten Project - Food Bank and Meal Programs: Baby Items
Over the next six weeks in Lent, our congregation will have opportunities to donate Canadian-made products for the Caldwell Family Centre (CFC) to support their Food Bank and/or their meal programs.
The hope is to support children and their families who may experience food insecurity while at the same time supporting our Canadian farmers and manufacturers by only buying Canadian products that are labelled as a “Product of Canada” (as this means a 98% likelihood of all-Canadian ingredients).
If you choose to make a financial donation, please mark your offering clearly as “Lenten Project”.

2025 Lenten Project - Food Bank and Meal Programs: Canadian Dairy
This is Week 2 of our 2025 Lenten Project! Thanks to everyone who has contributed, to date – we will make a difference!
This week the request is for financial donations to allow the Caldwell Family Centre to purchase dairy products for their Food Bank and children’s meal programs. Canadian dairy products can be distributed by the Food Bank at the Caldwell Family Centre, or used within their meal programs that support ‘healthy eating for kids’ (a breakfast, lunch and an afterschool program). These programs help children receive much needed food and nutrition that promotes learning and allows them to focus in school. Younger children and their parents are assured of a hot meal that perhaps takes some pressure off the family budget.
Next week, the request is for PEI or other Canadian potatoes and Canadian carrots.
We thank you for your ongoing support!
